Beezy LCL is an online LCL Cargo logistics platform we developed in partnership with other players in LCL shipping to make it easy for Micro, Small and Medium enterprises’ (MSMEs) import or export small volumes of cargo that cannot fill a full truck, 20 feet or 40 feet. LCL is more commonly known as consolidated or groupage cargo. With LCL shipping small traders, importers and exporters share one container for small shipments using only a portion of a shipping containers capacity. The remaining space within that container will be filled by goods belonging to other people or businesses. The key advantage is that you only pay for the space your cargo takes up in the container. The Beezy LCL helps all players in the LCL logistics services chain to: Improve accountability for and security of LCL (Groupage) cargo. Reducing the time required to clear LCL cargo through Customs and other jurisdictions. Improve flexibility for traders where cargo is headed to different destinations Reduce the cost of smaller shipments that cannot fill a full container Minimise risk of delays due to unavailability of shipping containers Allow traders option of Full Container Load or LCL depending on the cost implications. Allowing electronic interaction between importers and statutory a nd regulatory agencies Saving traders from the risk associated with shipping cargo through unregulated container leaders that often make it costly.
BELT (Logistics) Planner
We do cargo logistics planning and management for full container loads and Groupage cargo to help our clients obtain all basic information they need before they import in any consignment and prepare to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements. We liaise with our clients’ selected logistics service providers to ensure that that our client’s cargo is moved within the shortest time possible to save or guard against accumulation of costs in the shipping and delivery process. We also track the time taken by each logistics service provider to deliver on their services to ensure that our clients work with those that take the shortest time.
Digital Cargo Tracking System
We provide specialized cargo tracking services for our clients’ full container loads. Our online cargo tracking system helps our clients to track the location of their cargo right from port of loading to destination delivery point. This helps rapid response efforts in case of mechanical breakdown of transporter, intentional diversion of cargo to unknown destination or unnecessary delays that should not be billed to the importer. In case an importer fails to trace their goods, our offline cargo tracker can work with Customs and Port authorities to trace the goods and update on their clearance status.
Cargo Logistics Payments Management
We provide payments assistance services to our clients through our banking agency services that we hold with several banks. This service is intended to save our clients the burden of visiting the banks when a payment for their cargo is required. This service is designed to help our clients track their logistics expenses, consider alternative and cost-efficient service providers, promptly receiving and respond to queries from regulatory authorities like URA, UNBS, etc concerning the cargo. This helps reduce the time goods spend in the logistics supply chain and hence reduced cost.
